Sony Xperia 1 IV

We are looking forward to the presentation of the new flagship smartphone, the Sony Xperia 1 IV, which is expected to premiere in the first half of next month. We have high expectations, we admit :)

There has been a lot of talk about Sony's new smartphone since March this year, and we have announced it on several occasions, and it seems that the time of its official presentation is approaching. Below is the announcement video, and in about two weeks we will know what an elite smartphone it is.

As we mentioned, expectations from the Sony Xperia 1 IV are high, and in the meantime it has also appeared on the Geekbench benchmark pages codenamed XQ-CT54 and where it scored an impressive number of points, which you can also see at the link above. As expected, the smartphone should run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, with 12GB of RAM and will run on Android 12 OS.

Mention is made of a 6.5-inch cinema screen with a 21: 9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate and 4K resolution, and it is also covered with Gorilla Glass Victus protective glass and supports HDR (High Dynamic Range).

The emphasis will of course be on the cameras, which are signed by ZEISS, the rear should be triple, including a special wide-angle and telephoto. Let’s also mention the side-mounted fingerprint reader, something Sony had years before others, while the 5000mAh battery will support fast charging (45W).
