Bit's almost here. Tomorrow, at 4:00 PM U.S time, Samsung will host a Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event to unveil the new Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Tab S8 series. Little by little, all the details about the new devices have already become known. Yesterday, the full press release of the Galaxy Tab S8 even appeared online. We have also seen a lot of official material from the new S-series smartphones. In December last year, IndigenousNews already received the first official press image showing the Samsung S22 Ultra and S22 Plus.

Today we share a handful of official press images of Samsung's new top model. Shared exclusively to IndigenousNews by @DemonixLeaks, the images give an excellent preview of the Galaxy S22 Ultra – which Samsung will be showing off tomorrow. The images show that the new top model from Samsung will have an S Pen compartment for the first time in the history of the S series. You can store the stylus pen in the housing of the phone via the bottom right of the device.

For years this has been the iconic feature of the Galaxy Note series. Now that this line-up is being discontinued by Samsung, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will take over this functionality. You can therefore consider the new flagship as a successor to the Galaxy S21 Ultra, but also the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.

To make way for the stylus pen compartment, Samsung had to make more design changes. For example, the top model will have significantly fewer rounded corners than the other two S22 models.

The camera design is also being revised. A water drop camera design is chosen – as the company has already used with the cheap Galaxy A32. By making the camera system as minimalist as possible, weight can be saved – making the Galaxy S22 Ultra with S Pen just as heavy as the S21 Ultra.

The new top model will be equipped with a 6.8” QHD+ curved Dynamic AMOLED display with an adaptive 1-120Hz refresh rate. The phone will have a rounded screen with a centrally placed selfie camera. The fingerprint sensor is also processed under the display.

From the design, to the specs, the colors, the memory variants and even the prices – everything has already appeared online. There seems to be little left for Samsung to reveal. All official Galaxy S22 Ultra accessories and the retail box have already been spotted online. A giveaway has even been organized around Samsung's new flagship.

Meanwhile, Samsung has launched a major marketing campaign in 5 major cities worldwide, under the guise of ' Release the Tiger ‘. Break the Rules', Samsung pays attention to its improved low-light photography capabilities. This advertising campaign refers to the Super Clear Lens of the renewed 108 megapixel wide-angle camera – which will only be found on the S22 Ultra.

The company has also already paid attention to the S Pen functionality, via a blog post by TM Roh it was subtly made clear that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will have an S Pen compartment for the first time - as has been the hallmark for the Galaxy for years. Note series.

The Galaxy Unpacked event will be live streamed tomorrow. It is expected that the new models will be available for pre-order immediately after the official introduction. The new Ultra model will go on sale earlier than the other two S-series models. The Galaxy S22 Ultra will be released on Friday, February 25, 2022. The launch of the S22 and S22+ has been postponed by two weeks until Friday 11 March 2022.

The S Pen is included as standard with the top model this time. Unfortunately, this does not apply to the charger, the Samsung S22 Ultra will support 45W wired charging. The new 45W USB-C charger recently appeared online on the Samsung Netherlands website, it will cost €50. As for the retail prices of the S22 Ultra, three memory variants are expected. The memory will not be expandable by means of a micro SD memory card.
